Forgotten film from Norway
dakjets20 April 2018
This movie came out in 1936 and was no big success. Then it disappeared for several years. But in 2014 the National Gallery in Norway was called by a bank. They had found two film rolls in a vault, which turned out that it was where some of the lost films had been. The film was then shown again in Norway.

It's easy to understand that this did not hit when it came. The story is almost unrelated, and the end is also very strange. This is a crime story, about a murder on a farm, which is being investigated.

Despite the film's weaknesses, it was fun to see it on a viewing in Oslo a few years ago. Despite weak content, it is an example of films made at this time and is thus of interest.
