Andre Charville : Aha... Jealous?

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : [Looking at a photograph of a beautiful woman in Andre's room] Yes, terribly jealous. Jealous of all the years I didn't know you and jealous of everything that might take you away from me.

Andre Charville : This is my luckiest day but maybe you'll have regrets. Be disillusioned.

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : Darling, I don't even know how to spell those words.

Andre Charville : Did I remember, to tell you, you're delightful, you're everything I want you to be

[singing]

Andre Charville : You're eyes are lovely, And far beyond comparing, Especially when they're glaring, At me. I can't think up words to say, How swell you are, But I can tell you are, I know so well you are. I started falling, The moment that I saw you, Believe me I adore you, Cherie!

Andre Charville : I swear to you, I've been here every night, listening to you, looking at you, adoring you.

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : And I swear to you, I've been here every night looking for you, waiting for you, hoping for you, and you never came once.

Andre Charville : Well, it was yesterday. After all, it's tomorrow that counts. Or, better still, tonight.

Andre Charville : I'll die for you.

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : Oh, no, no! Let me die for you.

Andre Charville : Well, we'll die for each other. That is, after awhile. We don't have to die before morning, do we?

Andre Charville : Paris! Sleeping while the moon keeps watch. Oh, what fools people are to waste the moonlight in sleep.

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : We're not foolish, are we?

Andre Charville : And there's Montmartre. Where artists live and dream. There it is - at your feet where all the world should be.

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : If I asked you pretty. If I said please. Would you talk a little sense?

Andre Charville : But, that is sense. It's truth! It's wisdom!

Andre Charville : Come on. We've got a lot to do. I've got to drink to you. You've got to drink to me. And we've both got to drink to each other. So, what do you say? Shall we start?

Suzanne 'Suzy' Trent : At your service, Monsieur.

Baron Charville : Why did you marry this girl?

Andre Charville : Well, eh, well, she's young, pretty, blonde, romantic, trusting, has lovely ankles, affectionate as a kitten, has a beautiful hot temper, would make a charming widow, and, eh, and, eh, ah, you see, there's another reason why I married her. It's funny, it slipped my mind. I know - I love her!

Andre Charville : I know how you feel, Terry. Tonight, I'll stay sober, you get tight. It seems to me that's a pretty noble gesture on my part.

Andre Charville : Say, Terry, are you married?

Terry Moore : Well? Well, yes and no.

Andre Charville : Tell me, Terry, what do you do when your wife asks foolish questions?

Terry Moore : Mine doesn't.

Andre Charville : A woman who doesn't ask questions? Ah, an angel!

Andre's Drinking Partner : That's a pretty girl, the one's that singing.

Andre Charville : Yes, what's she look like? Blonde or brunette?

Andre's Drinking Partner : Blonde!

Andre Charville : Fat or thin?

Andre's Drinking Partner : Mixed - but in the right places.

Andre Charville : We tossed to see who'd dance with you and I won!
