The hotel interior set that appears in this film was used in several B-grade, independent westerns of the period. It also, quite notably, appeared in Marihuana (1936) as the villain's beach house, where a booze- and marijuana-fueled orgy unfolds.
The saloon where the gun battle between Dan and the rest of the town appears in many other low budget films of the period. It appears in the westerns Gun Smoke (1935), The Crooked Trail (1936), Lightnin' Crandall (1937) and The Feud Maker (1938), and in the exploitation films Gambling with Souls (1936) and Marihuana (1936).
