The heavily accented Frank Yaconelli completely overdoes the silly sidekick as the sling shot shooting partner of Tom Keene, assigned to deal with the excessive number of horses roaming around wild in the valley, ordered to drive them back in the hills as well as deal the railroad line run by a local rancher who obviously wants to drive other ranchers out.
More interesting than the plot is the character of rancher Steve Clark who has raised his daughters to be as formidable as the men. Oldest daughter Hope Blackwood is a combination of Barbara Stanwyck and Jean Arthur (in their fairly recent roles of Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane) and the much younger Sugar Dawn who definitely was closer to the Western roles that Jane Withers was playing over Shirley Temple whom she somewhat resembles. An entertaining time filler with lots of action, but Frank Yaconelli was not my taste.
