- Free French Colonel: [Last words] It's a dreadful business. Perhaps there'll be another tomb one day under the Arc de Triomphe: The Unknown Civilian.
- RAF Sgt. John Dougall: Au revoir, Mademoiselle. Thanks for everything. I very much hope we'll meet again.
- Jeanne: Adieu, RAF, Bon Voyage.
- "Stefan Godowski": Someone followed me out. I thought is was a Resistance contact, but soon realized...
- RAF Sgt. John Dougall: The Gestopo?
- "Stefan Godowski": A bounty-hunting Vichy bastard.
- Free French Colonel: One of the regulars at that cafe was a small-time Vichy spy. Stefan lighting an English cigarette there was no accident. It was a bit like yelling "Vive de Gaulle!" at Gestapo headquarters. The idea was to attract the attention not only of the spy but of the man and woman from the Resistance whom you later saw in the wine cellar.
- French Resistance Contact #1: Why that crazy business in the cafe?
- French Resistance Contact #2: Smoking an English cigarette when you had Gauloises?

- "Stefan Godowski": Montigny road, two kilometers, a bridge. Keep to the stream on the left to a big farm.
- French Resistance Contact #2: Good. In the stable you'll find two bicycles. I'll arrange that.
- French Resistance Contact #1: There'll be a small packet of food on the first bicycle.
- RAF Sgt. John Dougall: Thank you very much, madame.
- French Resistance Contact #2: Rolled inside the handlebar grip you'll find instructions. Got that? Off you go. Bon Voyage.
