When this cartoon was re-released in the mid-1950s, its original opening sequence was replaced with a standardized "Blue Ribbon" title card. Warner Bros. and their researchers were recently able to recover the original title sequences from several other cartoons; but in the case of Tweetie Pie, the credits were cut from the film's original negative. And since no copies of the first release version are known to exist, the Blue Ribbon version is the only one available.
There are unconfirmed reports that some old television prints still have the music from the original opening credits.
