This was Douglas Fairbanks Jr.'s last film until Kingdom of Gifts (1978) 22 years later and his last live-action film until Ghost Story (1981) 25 years later. Ghost Story (1981) was his final film overall.
This mysterious Italian movie was actually an editing job, recycling three episodes of the "Douglas Fairbanks Presents" television show within a narrative frame inspired by a short story by Alberto Moravia. These episodes are: "Big Nick" (directed by Lance Comfort, with Rossano Brazzi and Valentina Cortese), "Together" (directed by Lance Comfort, with Lee Patterson and Luciana Paluzzi) and "The Treasure of Urbano" (directed by Harold Huth, with Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Marina Berti).
