When Quacker finally realises that Tom intends to cook him for dinner near the end of the cartoon, he is holding a spoon over his shoulder. However, in the next shot, as he walks up to the can to jump into the pan of boiling stew on the stove suddenly he is no longer holding the spoon, which is instead already on the table-top, sloped upwards to the top of the pan containing the stew.
After Quacker is stuffed and put in the oven, Jerry rescues him, but he is suddenly thin again.
