Grammy-winner Beyonce has revamped lyrics of Dolly Parton’s iconic 1973 song ‘Jolene’, as she covered the track for her album ‘Cowboy Carter’. Beyonce’s country-themed album has 27 tracks that not only comprises the ‘Jolene’ cover with new lyrics, but also an interlude from Parton herself.
A big alteration was made to the chorus, with the original having Parton pleading with another woman. Beyonce changed the lyrics where she gives a strict warning to the woman to not “come for my man,” reports dailymail.co.uk.
The ‘Naughty Girl’ hitmaker also made changes to lyrics in the verses, where Parton had originally sung about the woman’s beauty.
Towards the end of the second verse, Beyonce changed the words to show that she had the confidence her man would stay by her side.
Earlier this month, Parton had hinted that Beyonce may have covered ‘Jolene’.

Los Angeles, May 20 (Ians) Singer Beyonce surprise dropped a remix of her ‘Renaissance’ hit ‘America Has a Problem’ featuring Kendrick Lamar on Friday night.
The new version of the song launches right into a tight verse from Lamar, in which he raps about everything from AI (“Even AI gotta practice clonin’ Kendrick”) to the Beyhive, reports Variety.
Beyonce then picks up for the rest of the song, which clocks in at four minutes and 20 seconds. The remix’s cover art features an American flag made up of what appears to be red, white and blue bullets.
‘America Has a Problem’ has been surging in popularity recently, thanks in part to the choreography that Beyonce debuted when her ‘Renaissance’ world tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10, which has inspired a TikTok trend.
Beyonce’s tour – her first in nearly five years – is set to continue through September, hitting both Europe and North America.

Beyoncé has officially kicked off her "Renaissance" World Tour. The megastar launched the highly anticipated event on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, kicking off a three-hour set without an opening act. She's set to travel through Europe through June before coming to North America over the summer, completing over 40 dates by the time the tour is through.
The tour is Beyoncé's first since 2018's "On the Run" tour with Jay-Z. Her last solo tour was in support of 2016's "Lemonade," so needless to say, the "Renaissance" tour is a major event - and Forbes has predicted that it could gross up to $2.6 billion by the time it's complete, making it one of the most profitable tours ever. It also marks Beyoncé's first live performance since 2018 other than a one-off appearance in Dubai in January, where she appeared alongside her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
Ahead, check out the full set list...

Even with a no-phones policy at the 1,500 seat concert, plenty of footage from the show ended up on social media.
The concert was Beyoncé’s first in over 4 years, which had many fans excited, but also drew sharp criticism for her choice of venue.
Much of the criticism centred on Dubai’s strict laws against LGBTQ people and same-sex relationships, with many posing out how Beyoncé’s latest album, Renaissance, was celebrated for honouring and taking inspiration from the queer community and LGBTQ icons.

Actress Laverne Cox, who was mistaken for Beyonce at US open, turned to her social media page to share her reaction. Some Beyonce fans thought they spotted the ‘Naughty Girl’ hitmaker in the crowd at the 2022 US Open, but it was actually the four-time Emmy-nominated actress, reports aceshowbiz.com.

When producer Scott Storch spent a week in a South Beach studio with Beyoncé in 2002, he had never met her before, despite working on Destiny’s Child tracks. But as soon as she started singing some of the songs they wrote together, with the help of rapper Est, for what would become her 2003 debut Dangerously in Love, her level of artistry became clear. “When I was in the studio,” Storch says, “I was thinking to myself so many times, this is the best singer I’ve ever worked with and probably will ever work with.

The last thing people might have expected from “NCIS: LA” stars Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J is a reality series where professional child dancers invite their parents onto the dance floor, but it turns out the heartwarming “Come Dance With Me” competition, which premieres April 15 on CBS, is very much in their wheelhouse.
During a virtual CBS panel on Wednesday, O’Donnell revealed he’s been working on the idea for a few years with Reinout Oerlemans at 3 Ball Productions, and that his crime-solving partner on TV wanted in on the project.
“Chris came to me with this germ of an idea and I immediately gravitated towards it, “said Cool J. “I thought it was an incredible idea. I thought it was really fun. I thought the energy was right. This was pre-pandemic, but even at that time, I felt like the world could use a nice family...

Chris O’Donnell was on set at “NCIS: Los Angeles,” checking his emails, when co-star LL Cool J started looking over his shoulder. O’Donnell happened to be reading about a reality TV idea that his buddy Reinout Oerlemans had just pitched.
The concept is what would become “Come Dance With Me,” a new family-oriented dance competition that premieres April 15 on CBS. But at that moment, O’Donnell wasn’t quite sure he was up for working on a competition show.
“[LL] says, ‘What are you looking at?’” O’Donnell recalled. “I told him it was my friend’s idea for a new show. He goes, ‘I think that thing’s hot! You should do it. This is up your alley.’ And then he was like, ‘I’ll do it if you do it!’”
O’Donnell replied to Oerlemans: “So good news, not only will I do it, but my buddy Todd will do it too!

The sexy singletons are heading to Peacock.
Love Island, the dating format based on the British smash hit, is moving from CBS to Peacock. The NBCUniversal streamer has given the series, which comes from ITV America, a two-season, 80-episode order.

People on social media are always in shambles whenever Chloë posts something sexy, and it's exhausting. On Thursday, the 23-year-old singer posted a now-deleted video of herself wearing lingerie and sucking on a lollipop while thanking fans for their support. It was hot! But within a few hours, there were comments plastered all over Twitter and Instagram about how she's "doing too much" for attention, calling her "cringe," "thirsty," and "church girl gone wild." People even dragged Beyoncé into the conversation with regards to being sexy while maintaining a classy persona - as if Beyoncé wasn't singing "Kitty Cat," "Bootylicious" and "Naughty Girl" (all hits) at the same age as Chloë. The naysayers also called for Chloë to delete the video, which she eventually did.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their On the Run II Tour in Cardiff, UK, on Wednesday, and naturally people have lost their dang minds. Aside from giving fans an intimate look at their personal lives through home videos and pictures of their precious twins, the couple is putting on one hell of a show. The pair is performing some of their greatest duets, including "Drunk in Love," "Bonnie and Clyde," and "Family Feud," but they're also singing a few of their own tracks. While there's no telling what surprises lie in store for future concert dates, their opening night is probably a good indicator of what songs you can expect to hear. See the full set list below.

It's been 14 years since Beyoncé released "Naughty Girl," but the uncontrollably sexy sound never gets old. Bobby Newberry, a choreographer at La's Millennium Dance Complex, just did the impossible and made the song even steamier with this group dance routine. While it's obvious no one does it like Queen Bey, these dancers are coming pretty close to her level of seductiveness. If only we had their moves back in 2003 for some epic house party booty popping.

Prince Charles‘s goddaughter, English socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, has died. She was 45 years old.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Prince of Wales and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, said they were “deeply saddened” by her death. She had been battling a brain tumor.
Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, another family friend, also issued a statement of condolence. Like Palmer-Tomkinson, Ferguson hails from an aristocratic family in Dummer, a village in southeast England.

James Corden, Meg Ryan and Adam Scott giddily overact Beyoncé's lyrics during the latest installment of The Late Late Show's pop music soap opera sketch, "The Bold and the Lyrical."
The clip opens with Ryan and Scott as secret lovers, whispering sweet nothings from "Naughty Girl" and "Say My Name." When Corden comes home and discovers the affair, he cries out "Ring the alarm," causing Scott to admit he's Ryan's "baby boy." Ryan murmurs, "Uh-oh," which quickly evolves into the refrain from "Crazy in Love."

What's Christian Grey's mood music? A whole lot of Beyoncé - plus some vintage Frank Sinatra. Republic Records revealed the tracklist for the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack Tuesday, and it's dominated (pun intended) by sultry pop stars like Ellie Goulding, Sia and Mrs. Carter herself. Of course, Queen Bey's involvement has been a given ever since the film's first teaser featured her slow and sexy remix of 2003's "Crazy in Love." And the official trailer, released in November, was set to her song "Haunted." (What, no "Naughty Girl"?) But the album also includes old-school hit-makers The Rolling Stones, Annie Lenox and Frank Sinatra.

We aren't sure exactly what will happen at Sunday's MTV Video Music Awards when fans decide the winner of Best Female Video. According to our odds, the race is too close to call between Beyonce's "Partition" and newcomer Iggy Azalea's "Fancy." -Break- MTV VMAs to honor Beyonce with Vanguard Award "Fancy" has a very narrow lead, getting 13/5 odds. The "Clueless"-inspired video is nominated for four awards overall, including Video of the Year, and it has been a blockbuster hit this summer, spending seven weeks on top of Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. But Beyonce, recently announced as the recipient of the Video Vanguard Award, is a legend at the VMAs, with eight nominations this year and a strong track record in the Female Video race. She has won it twice (for "Crazy in Love" in 2003 and "Naughty Girl" in 2004) out of seven previous nominations. Only Madonna has ...'...

Dancing to a Beyonce megamix is hard enough: You're going to be compared to the woman herself, and if you don't have her incredible charisma or talent, you're going to look ridiculous. Well. These guys have charisma, talent, attitude, and enough passion for Beyonce's music to render all comparisons useless. They're just ferocious as hell and killing it. In fact, they made it to the finals of "Britain's Got Talent" before Simon Cowell snuffed their fire. Whatever. To me they're just as awesome as those Russian lady twerkers. The attitude alone in this video should power you until the weekend. "Naughty Girl" has never been naughtier. Period. ...

Capping off the summer with an electrifying performance, Beyoncé lit up the stage at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday (August 31).
Donning a variety of sparkling outfits that showed off her gorgeous gams, Mrs. Carter launched into the hits including "If I Were a Boy," "Naughty Girl," and "Crazy in Love."
Unfortunately, her hip-hop hubby, Jay Z, did not join her on "Crazy in Love," though he curated the star-studded festival.
Check out videos of her performance below, including "End of Time" and "Run the World." Stay linked to GossipCenter for more festival news as the event continues through Labor Day Weekend.

Of course Queen Bey brought the house down at the music festival that’s curated by her husband. And she had a little help from a wildly sexy on-stage outfit!
For her performance at Made In America, a music festival curated by Jay Z, Beyonce made sure not to leave the stage without blowing the minds of every single person in the audience. She’s owned the Super Bowl Halftime Show, the Inaugural Address National Anthem (well, sort of), and so many more, but her performance on Aug. 31 may have been her best ever.

Beyonce debuted yet another new 'do as she took to the Chelmsford stage for V Festival last night.
The RnB diva, who unveiled a pixie crop last week, appeared to have grown a miraculous few inches in the interim, with a sleek blonde bob accompanying her multiple costume changes.
Beyonce debuts another new look for V Festival
The singer started out in a white leotard, but appeared at various times in a leopard-print dress, a black leotard, a glittering purple jumpsuit and even a simple black and white top and trouser set.
Beyonce, who was headlining the festival at Hylands Park in Essex last night before moving to the Staffordshire leg at Weston Park tonight, delighted the crowd with a catalogue full of her most popular numbers, including 'Naughty Girl', '1+1' and 'Why Don't You Love Me'. She finished with a resplendent 'Halo'.

Beyonce said she was "nervous" to perform Saturday at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, the house that husband Jay Z helped build and famously christened. Naturally, she had nothing to fear.
In a rollicking set spanning much of her discography, Beyonce lived up to her royal nickname, playing Queen B to an eager audience that was more than happy to indulge her in celebrating herself.
The show was chopped up by pre-filmed scenes and mini-movies, convenient yet intricate mood and tempo shifts that also allowed for the singer to cycle through her many outfits. The always regal clips most often saw the singer in the powder-faced look that accompanied the tour's announcement (a get up that's heavily influenced by Estonian singer Kerli), though the Mia-esque visuals for as of the still unreleased "Grown Woman" were a very welcome reprieve from the palace porn.

Beyoncé did not release her upcoming album’s first single this morning, as a 6-second teaser yesterday suggested she might. Instead she released a minute-long Pepsi commercial where she confronts her past selfs. The ad campaign is a part of her estimated $50 million dollar deal with the brand.
Directed by Jake Nava, who has previously worked with Beyoncé on videos “Crazy In Love” and “Baby Boy”, the commercial shows Beyoncé rehearsing in a dance studio space when, suddenly, the mirrors surrounding her show her reflection. She is dressed in costumes that are taken from her collection of iconic music videos. We see a range of looks taken from Beyonce’s earlier days such as Destiny’s Child hit “Bootylicious“, the iconic “Crazy In Love” and “Single Ladies“, as well as a look from a collaboration, “Beautiful Liar“. Despite the fact that everyone hates Beyonce Knowles for killing all those kittens earlier this week (or something clearly just as horrible), she's still set to grace the biggest stage in the world when she leads the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 3rd (preceeding an unprecedented HBO doc that will chronicle the craziest pop pregnancy in world history). And if the rumors are to be believed, she re-hired those backup dancers Kelly and Michelle to accentuate her lip-synching sashays. "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Survivor," and new single "Nuclear" will herald the temporary Destiny's Child reunion, while Bey will breast-pop through "Crazy In Love" like only she can, presumably with Jay in tow.

Kimberley Walsh has promised to find her "inner Beyoncé" for tonight's Strictly Come Dancing routine. The Girls Aloud singer told The Sun that this evening's performance is very sexually driven. After being lowered from the ceiling in a silver hoop, Walsh will dance a salsa routine with partner Pasha Kovalev to 'Naughty Girl'. However, Walsh said she needs to find inspiration from Beyoncé's alter ego 'Sasha Fierce', as she would find it "too inhibiting" to be herself. She explained: "This entrance is definitely something Beyoncé's alter ego Sasha Fierce would do. "She'd probably be doing forward rolls up there on the hoop. I've also got a couple of risqué lifts which, if they work, will look amazing. "But my Sasha Fierce definitely needs to (more)...

Atlantic City, N.J. — Michelle Obama was with the single ladies this weekend, joining 5,500 fans at a Beyonce concert in Atlantic City.
The first lady was with daughters Sasha and Malia at Revel Resorts, where Beyonce performed two dozen songs Saturday night. Obama's husband, President Barack Obama, did not attend.
Gov. Chris Christie was among the sell-out crowd packed into Revel's Ovation Hall.
Michelle Obama and the girls appeared excited throughout the concert, cheering Beyonce on. The daughters even sang along to the old school-sounding jam "Love on Top."
Obama recently told People magazine that if she could be anyone else, it would be Beyonce. And she came close, at least in how she was received by the audience: The first lady got a roaring cheer that matched Beyonce's as she made her way to her seat in a shiny green dress. Some fans took photos while others screamed her name.

Classic disco tunes found their way into just about every corner of our culture, from 'American Idol' to Beyoncé's 'Naughty Girl.'

The death of Donna Summer on Thursday (May 17) at age 63 after a long battle with cancer has many reflecting on the impact the disco legend had on music.
While many may not realize it, Summer is the foremother of, well, just about every pop song on the radio today. Her iconic 1977 anthem "I Feel Love," which peaked at #6 on the Billboard singles chart (one of 14 top 10 hits), was the first mainstream song to be produced using an entirely synthesized backing track. Until then, most disco recordings had been backed by acoustic orchestras, and the reception to the song revolutionized music.
