In London's colourful but seedy Soho of the 1950's, Michael Morgan is working mending the road. He is unhappy, with little hope of finding happiness. Michael Morgan operates a pneumatic drill with a road resurfacing crew. He also operates on the girls in whatever street he happens to be working on.
