- Augusto Zinconi found his place at the Record in Mestre thanks to a recommendation from Undersecretary Monaci and he takes advantage of it: he arrives late, works little etc. Plus, round up your salary with a little smuggling. But when the new office manager, nicknamed Penombra, arrives, things seem to change. In the North, recommendations no longer count and Zinconi seriously runs the risk of being fired on the spot. The Roman bureaucracy came to rescue him, holding a Record practice for two years and which the American parent company wants defined within three months, under penalty of the closure of the Italian branch.
