  • Some mild insinuated violence mostly shown off screen including a burning at the stake, a women gets stabbed, a man is in a car accident with some visible blood. A man is later stabbed in the back with a long knife. People start self combust in flames.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Someone driving is horrified to see a flaming head of a witch coming toward them with maniacal laughter. This could be frightening to small children.
  • The scene at the beginning of a witch hunt and attempted execution of a witch is extremely disturbing, especially for a black & white film from 1960.
  • A woman is shown burned and dead at the end and may be scary for young kids.
