NEW YORK -- NBC has ordered four more episodes of Forensic Files from Court TV. The peacock network was pleased with the ratings from its first four-episode run, which ended Sept. 15 and drew an average of 8.34 million viewers. The Court TV original series, Files will move from its Sunday time slot on NBC to Saturdays 8-9 p.m. ET, beginning Oct. 12. Reverse repurposing isn't just working for NBC; ABC found success rebroadcasting the new USA series Monk, which drew 8.3 million viewers this summer and subsequently received an order of additional episodes. Separately, Files will be part of Court TV's new all-original primetime block, which runs Monday through Saturday beginning Sept. 30. Reruns of NYPD Blue have been moved to 11 p.m. to make room for documentaries including I Detective and The Investigators.
