Violence & Gore

  • Surprisingly violent film for 1962, even though little or no blood is shown. People are shot and die throughout the film. Little or no blood is shown. Man is killed by a grenade, offscreen, but is heard screaming in pain. Another man is hit by shrapnel and was screaming about his guts, can be a bit unnerving. People catch fire from a flame thrower in some scenes. A man throws himself into an enemy bunker with explosives, blowing himself and the bunker up.
