• Masaba : Themba has beaten me. They are singing and dancing for him down there. They used to sing to me. And the maidens danced for me. You must give me medicine, to make me quick and strong again.

  Witch Doctor : You are a very rich man, Masaba. You will have to pay me many cattle.

  Masaba : But I want strong medicine. I do not want roots or herbs. I want strong medicine.

  Witch Doctor : If you want strong medicine, you must pay me 15 oxen and 10 heifers.

  Witch Doctor : This is your medicine. You must eat this. And you must bury this outside your hut.

  Witch Doctor : And then, you must eat the heart of a child. The child must be a small girl. And she must have a twin sister. But the sister must not be touched.
