The only Pink Panther cartoon scored by Doug Goodwin. This score was used extensively in "The Ant and the Aardvark" shorts.
Although showing a modern depiction of a crocodile (teeth visible when mouth is closed) seems out of place, there actually was a prehistoric relative of today's reptile, the Deinosuchus. It lived in the late Cretaceous period.

The use of boulders rolling towards an unsuspecting character was a common sight gag in many cartoons. It would become serious reality for Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones in the 1981 film Raiders of the Lost Ark.
