Sex & Nudity

  • There are a few shots played for laughs with Edgar's visible underwear.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Younger/more sensitive kids can be upset by the drugging and abandonment of a mom cat and her three kittens.
  • Some derogatory stereotyping of East Asians by a Siamese cat character, though this film was made at a time when such things were considered amusing.
  • Everything listed in violence and gore can be frightening.

  • Edgar approaches Thomas O'Malley with a pitchfork, but uses it to restrain the cat rather than impaling him, showing himself to be considerably less evil than many Disney villains.
  • Edgar, Lafayette, and Napoleon got into a slapstick motorcycle fight which went on for 5 minutes, and it happened again in another scene.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • For a short time, the kittens can't find their mom.
  • Thomas and Duchess share an intimate moment on the roof where he offers her the chance to stay with him and she reluctantly turns him down, due to not wanting to leave her mistress. This scene is quite emotional.
