- A young Israeli sent to install a secret transmitter in Arab territory, is captured and, after torture fails, is subjected to the more compassionate efforts of an aging police inspector. A story that constitutes a hopeful, understanding approach to an old conflict.
- Shimon, a young Israeli saboteur, is unlucky enough to be taken prisoner by the Egyptians. Major Kassik tries in vain to force information out of him, but Shimon remains silent. An old police officer called Mechdal comes onto the scene. He approaches the boy in a kind and persuasive manner, making friends with the boy despite the differences in their ages, nationality and behavior. Everything goes so well that Shimon, now back in the hands of Kassik, agrees to talk on the condition that he be allowed to return to Israel. In reality he tries to mislead the Major and escape but a burst of gunfire stops him in his tracks.
