Hi...I'm Doug McClure and I do lots of low budget films!

This wasn't too bad for a made for tv movie. The film centers on two allied pilots in their P-40 Curtis hawks who are sent on a mission to destroy a minefield in NORTH AFRICA. During the mission one of the planes gets shot down and his buddy lands to pick him up when the second plane is disabled by a allied tank commadeered by the character played by Lloyd Bridges. I saw this movie back in 1982 and it wasn't bad. The film is essenttially a SPEED (1970's style) chase through the desert as the two guys on the crippled hawk fighter drive it through the desert and get into a duel with the evil afrika corps crew and the german Commander played by Bridges. Not many stations show this and it is not on video. Worth a watch if it pops up in your area on the late night movie. Washes the bad taste of PSI FACTOR out of your mouth.
