- Near the beginning of the film, a black man has a bloody leg in an alley way. It turns out to be a con with Johnny Hooker for another mans gambling winnings/take from a gambling ring.
- In the climax of the film two men appear to be shot, with some blood appearing on their faces. In reality they are faking it and get up a minute or two later.
