Anthony Petrocelli, himself, said in this movie (which inspired the 44 episode television series Petrocelli) he has five sisters. The viewer also discovers he attended Harvard University, and he was originally from New York. He also states that he is building a house in the Arizona desert twelve bricks a day, his father was a bricklayer, and he and his wife are expecting a child, which unfortunately ends in a miscarriage.
Actor Henry Darrow is no stranger to filming in Tuscon Arizona where the movie was filmed. He starred in 97 episodes of the popular western TV Series The High Chaparral that filmed in Tuscon from 1967-1971.
The opening credits show Tony driving a blue truck although he drives a white one throughout the Night Games TV movie. The blue Chevrolet Custom C-10 with a "Winnebago KAP Cover" brand camper top is what he drives in the 44 shows of the Petrocelli TV series.
Stefanie Powers also makes a guest appearance in the Petrocelli TV series. She is featured in a dual role where she portrays a woman and her twin sister.
There is a running gag that continues though the movie and the Petrocelli TV series where people will mispronounce Petrocelli's last name.
