Enjoyable comedy based on a play by Roberto Romero adapted by the prolific film writer Santiago Moncada. Throughout an irregular plot, with its twists and turns, emphasizing the physical humor and the caricature of the leading actress, the great Lina Morgan here in her purest form, following the adventures of a peculiar duo. Protagonists Lina Morgan and Juan Luís Galíardo in a succession of disasters and contrasts that are more or less fortunate in their humorous purposes. Dealing with Sergio Melgar (Juan Luís Galiardo), a film heartthrob on the decline of his career, who agrees to spend 24 hours with the winner of a radio contest. The award goes to Tina (Lina Morgan), a redneck girl from a small town and a fervent admirer of the actor. So Valentina Gordillo, known as Tina, lives in Algarrobo de Mijares, a small town far from Madrid. She is an unconditional admirer of the actor Sergio and her best friend is Rita, her favorite mule. One day, the postman (Manolo Codeso) arrives on his bicycle (which Lina usually crushes with his tractor) to Tina's farm. The postman who is in love with her brings him a letter from her, and when she opens it Tina discovers a wonderful surprise from her. Thus, thanks to the contest you will have the opportunity to spend 24 hours with her idol. In their meeting, both will learn a lot from each other.

A well-acted comedy with two famous protagonists, Juan Luís Galiardo as Sergio Melgar, a faded actor who needs a facelift in his professional career and Lina Morgan as the lollipop Tina, the farmer who has always lived in her town Algarrobo de Mijares; They have opposite lifestyles and there is a head-on collision between urban and rural life. She is the typical villager who does not know modern life or the social or sexual aspects that it entails; while Sergio is a heartthrob but in deep decline who lives immersed in the harshly bustling world of cinema. A simple and plain comedy whose objective is to discover the weaknesses of the man behind the imperturbable image of the magazine cover idol through the couple of its pleasant main protagonists. Disconcerting story with funny but also absurd moments and attractive performances by two friendly artists: Lina Morgan and Juan Luís Galiardo. Due to a certain success of this couple, they successfully performed two films: 'Imposible para una solterona' (1976), repeating their performance in 'Un día con Sergio' (1976) also directed by Rafael Romero Marchent.

The highlight of the film is the participation of several well-known faces, so one of the main entertainment is guessing the names of the supporting actors who appear here and there, such as: Florinda Chico, Alfredo Mayo, Manolo Codeso, Adrián Ortega, Luis Barbero, Fabián Conde, Antonio Ozores in the role of secretary and representative of Sergio with his usual quirky air and two actors from Paella Western who regularly worked for Rafael Marchent: Barta Barri, Lorenzo Robledo and some actresses from 'Destape': Rosa Valentí, Aurora de Alba and Carmen Platero. It is an uneven story with funny but also disconcerting moments and a charming performance by a friendly comedian, who here shows her usual comic tics: Lina Morgan, a Spanish actress famous both in film and on the stage of her successful theater La Latina from Madrid. The films she made were short-budget and mediocre but with a lot of comedy and a lot of fun, and most of them were directed by Mariano Ozores, Pedro Lazaga or Pedro Masó. Lina was a famous actress, she starred in successful films, such as: ¨La Tonta Del Bote¨, ¨La Graduada¨, ¨La Descarriada¨, ¨Fin Semana Al Desnudo¨, ¨Los Pecados De Una Chica Decente¨, ¨Una Pareja Distinta¨ , ¨This Is What It Is¨, ¨A Day with Sergio¨, ¨Impossible for a spinster¨ and several others. She is especially known for her TV series such as ¨Hostal Royal Manzanares¨ (1996), ¨Una De Dos¨ (1998) and ¨Academia Baile Gloria¨ (2001), but she left ¨Escenas De Matrimonio¨ three weeks after joining the cast, due to problems of health until her death in 2015.

The film has a silly plot with its ups and downs and was professionally directed by Rafael Romero Marchent. Rafael was born on May 3, 1926 in Madrid, Spain. He was a director and actor, especially known for his Spaghetti or Paella Westerns, such as: Garringo, A Dollar Reward or Manos Torpes. Rafael Romero Marchent was the brother of Joaquín Luis Romero, who was the first to film westerns in Spain. At first, Rafael Romero began in films as an actor, but when his career began to wane, he preferred to spend time behind the camera. Rafael is an expert writer and director of Spaghetti Western as proved in ¨Two crosses on Danger Pass¨, Cry for revenge¨, ¨Two guns for two twins¨ and ¨Sartana Kills Them All¨ or ¨Un par Asesinos¨. While his brother Joaquin Marchent is deemed the Paella Western's best director , his first film was ¨El Coyote¨ and the sequel titled ¨Revenge of Coyote¨ shot in Mexico ; after that , he filmed ¨The shadow of Zorro¨ and ¨Revenge of Zorro¨, he went go directing Western as ¨ Riding to death ¨, ¨Adventures in the West¨ , ¨Three good men¨, ¨El Sabor Venganza ¨ and the most popular and violent ¨Condenados a Vivir¨ . Plus , he wrote for his brother Rafael Romero Marchent the following Westerns : ¨Manos Torpes¨, ¨Ocaso Un Pistolero¨ , ¨Garringo¨ , ¨Dos Cruces en Danger Pass¨ and ¨Sartana Kills Them All¨. Rating : 5.5/10. Average but passable and acceptable, though contains some failures and imperfections. The film will appeal to Lina Morgan fans.
