Don't expect much!

This is an often stupid, sometimes funny comedy that is divided into three segments. The first deals with a lonely man who buys a life size doll. The second is about a writer (Jerry Orbach from TV's Law and Order!) getting help from a muse and the third is about the president's daughter getting kidnapped and the outrageous demand which must be met for her return. The photography is pretty bad as is the acting but if you're in the mood for cheap laughs, this might do the trick.

Poor sex farce

Three allegedly hilarious sexual stories are in the film.

The first one has a man (the talented Pat Paulsen) buying a sexual robot (or something) who looks and sounds like a woman. He "hysterically" tries to have sex and wine and dine her again and again...failing each time. The ending is REALLY stupid. Only interesting part here is seeing Paul Dooley as a salesman.

The second one about a man with writers block and his muse and something involving undressing a woman. Even worse than the first despite the presence of Jerry Orbach.

I THOUGHT the last one would be good. It has Zero Mostel and Estelle Parsons playing the president and his wife. Their daughter is kidnapped but she will be returned to them safe...IF they have sex on national TV. Mostel and Parsons do their best...but the material isn't there.

I do wonder how they got such talented actors to do such drivel. My guess is they all lost a bet or something:) There's MAYBE one or two laughs in this whole movie--and they're in the last segment only. This is a stupid, unfunny, smutty movie--even the requisite female nudity is boring! For masochists only. I give it a 1.

Entertaining small film.

This film reminds me in some ways of what the early 70's TV series "Love American Style" might have been like if it was a R rated theatrically released film! Harmless overall, laugh out loud funny and even has it's share of low-brow wit like a John Waters film! This movie is broken into three mini segments that don't directly relate to each other with the exception of the "introduction" by comic "Professor" Irwin Corey! Segment one stars 60's comic and real life protest presidential candidate Pat Paulsen in a tale about a "life size" doll! Segment two stars Jerry Orbach as a writer with writer's block and his relationships with women and my personal favorite Segment Three! Segment Three stars Zero Mostel in a insanely funny double roll as a mobster and the President of the USA and the great Estelle Parsons as the First Lady! To say much more would give too much away! This is not a major classic by any means, but it has it's great moments especially in the third segment! Segment three is especially worth a look if you like absurd political satire from the 70's in a style that might remind you at times of the work of John Waters!
