exposed bodies, flimsy plot
PeterMitchell-506-56436427 October 2012
Exposed has the look of half a movie. The plot is thin, ex adult actor, who hasn't told his beautiful wife, being lured back into the porn industry by the sound of figures with a lot of zeroes at the end. Oh how we must resist such temptations. Now married, with his own photography studio, Bill (John Leslie), couldn't be happier. His old friend/big shot director, keeps badgering him, where he finally resorts to other tactics, like sending two hotties to Bill's studio, to make out with him. That Bill does, where he has to speed the sex up, as his wife's on his way over for lunch. This is about the only sex scene I like in the movie. Incidentally, this scene is the front covers featured still. Our Bill finally succumbs, and it's back in the business. This movie has a bit of angry sex too, where John performs a couple of indecent acts, demeaning women in his mate's new flick, that he's not entirely comfortable with, threatening to walk out. Also, John really gives it to his lady neighbor, blackmailing him for sex, as knowing of his past. The film does have a rewarding ending with John's last scene that I'm not gonna disclose. John Leslie was my favorite adult actor, and I only recently learn't of his passing, back in 2010. Out of all the films he did, and he did a lot more, believe me (not as many as Ron Jeremy, ha, ha, ha) this one was small fry. Don't get me wrong, I like it. I have video'd it a couple of times (it comes on a double feature cassette) but it's not gonna go down as his trademark film.

Golden Age film is super-hot.
Hermit C-210 May 1999
This "Golden Age" flick is a tour-de-force for John Leslie. Fans might know him today as a prolific director, but that came after a successful career in front of the camera. The story concerns a ex-adult film star who is being blackmailed into resuming his former profession. That plot might sound a little heavy, but it's not; this is a humorous, entertaining film.

John is working overtime in this movie. Perhaps the hottest scene is with redhead Kitty Shayne, who didn't make many movies but is super here. The one thing I don't care for is that John smacks her one time (at her request). That's a rarity in "mainstream" X-rated fare, then or now. Another exciting scene features Lysa Thatcher, a pretty young woman fondly remembered (by me, at least).Plus there's an effective cameo by Sue Nero in a movie-within-the-movie, "Cheerleaders in Bondage." That's supposed to be a parody of cheap exploitation porn, if it's possible to do such a thing. In any case it's funny.

As sometimes happens in these films, the moral of the story comes down in favor of monogamy. John's character Willie is reunited lovingly with his wife-- albeit on the set of a porno movie! His faithful wife is credited as Shirley Woods but is better known as Sharon Kane, oe Cane, or Caine, or...
