- A woman's leg is slashed with a pickaxe; the killer, Jason, is interrupted by a man and a fight ensues, and the woman picks up a machete and strikes Jason on the shoulder, deeply lodging the machete in his body. It's revealed that Jason survived the attack in the next film.

- The killer, Jason Voorhees, started killing people, because of the death of his mother in the previous film.
