Dumb spy satire mixed with hardcore porn
lor_23 January 2015
Ian MacGregor dominates this dumb spy comedy filled with explicit sex scenes. Using the stage name Sir Lawrence Rothchild, the comedian does not engage in sex acts but emphasis on his unfunny comedy routines sink the movie. If he looks familiar (he is a zero-range comedian) it's because he trotted out the same stuff in the even more obscure movie Mrs. Smith's Erotic Holiday the same year (also starring Becky Savage).

Complicated but uninteresting plot line has MacGregor as Commander James, assigned by the British Government to find a sexy spy Becky Savage who's had a deadly device implanted in her vagina. There's an evil organization named ENEMA that is also after the device, with Samantha Fox out to steal a special detector in James' possession.

Most of the Bond spoofing is silly, including a villain named Grossfinger, but given that in more recent years Mike Myers made a boatload of money and achieved nearly iconic status with a similarly low-brow approach you can't fault pornographer Ann Perry for trying.
