Confessions of a Golden Boy
ZeddaZogenau5 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
A handsome but impoverished Hungarian count (Bela ERNYEY) is crazy about beautiful women, lots of money and jewels. When he is about to marry a rich wallflower (Zsuzsa FARKES), he is caught in bed with the maid (Zsuzsa NYERTES). Then he meets a rich English woman (Britt EKLAND), but thats just the beginning of his problems...

Based on a novella by Hungarian writer Sandor HUNYADY, which could be translated as "The Golden Boy" (in German: Der Beau) and was probably published in 1933, this television film (co-produced by Bayerischer Rundfunk), broadcast in 1987, was unusually sensual and erotic for its time. Other roles include David McCALLUM and Heidi BOHAY, who was very popular at the time thanks to the TV series "Hotel".

The Golden Boy

Hope this translation is useful.

The charming golden boy, addicted to beautiful women and more beautiful jewels, is suspected of murder. By the time his innocence is revealed, he will have lost everything: money, the favour of the company, and with it the consciousness of his inviolability.

David McCallum plays a Somborian Supervisor. Sombora is part of Serbia.

I haven't seen the film, so I cannot give it a rating.
