- Mark takes a kitten and throws it into the fire. Helen screams.
- Helen grabs hold of Mark and nearly places him on the fire. He burns his hand.
- Helen uses a chair to defend herself against Mark. He is seen with little blood.
- Helen hits Mark with a chair which makes him stab himself with a fencing sword. He is briefly seen crawling away. Later, he is seen dead.
