Sex & Nudity

  • A reel-to-reel tape recorder on a shelf sings seductively, "You must be the new boys in town" as it strikes a lascivious pose. Also, the round tape reels resemble a woman's breasts due to the anthropomorphic build.
  • In the scene where the TV tries to convince the Master to go to Ernie's disposal, there's a shot of the character pulling paper out of a filing cabinet. One of the sheets of paper has a woman on it with two stars covering her chest. In the DVD release, she sports a bra.
  • There are a bit of lyrics in the song "Worthless" that mention, "there were bikinis and buns filled with weenies, believe me you just couldn't forget."

Violence & Gore

  • The lamp postures intimidatingly to the alarm clock for making noise in the morning. The lamp states, "I've got a good mind to reset your alarm permanently!" Chases it then knocks it on its head. Alarm clock then launches him off of the bed, where the lamp says, "Holy mother of Edison! What were you thinking?! You might've broken my bulb!"
  • The vacuum Kirby defecates behind a tree. Afterwards, Toast knocks Blanky over the head for trying to peak behind the tree.
  • Several cars are smashed and turned into cubes.
  • A talking conditioner has a meltdown in one scene around the main characters and explodes.
  • There is some stylized violence, but it is mainly against dingy appliances.
  • An air-conditioner cracks the walls surrounding him and blows up. It ends up killing itself but comes back to life after the Master fixes it.
  • In one scene Lampy suggest ideas on how to escape the cottage, the characters are seen falling off a bed, pogo sticks and out of a refrigerator. This is played for laughs.
  • Lampy shorts out during a thunderstorm.
  • The characters fall off a cliff into a rushing waterfall but are unharmed.
  • A blender is seen being taken apart by a repair person and we see the main characters wince.
  • A blender is squeezed in a vice, opened up with a screwdriver and has its motor cut out (shown in silhouette.) The scene is shot in such a way that it looks like an organ harvesting. Later on, the radio is also put into the same vice but the other characters manage to rescue it before any damage is done.
  • A toaster has a nightmare about being killed by an evil clown fireman.
  • The main characters are shown from outside getting tossed into a dumpster by the modern appliances.
  • We see various singing cars getting crushed by a compactor.

Profanity

  • A mish-mash says "Oh-ho-ho-ho! God!"
  • Mild insults and name-calling, phrases like "Shut up." In one scene, The Radio says "damn" when the characters fell off the waterfall. Kirby jumps in and rescues them, but radio uses his intennae to poke Kirby's inflated bag and said "and damn thee, from the pits of hell, i stabbeth thee!"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The entire movie is rather dark and eerie.
  • An air conditioner has an emotional meltdown and catches fire before exploding. The air conditioner looks as though he was dead.
  • The air conditioner in the beginning of the movie is very mean/twisted towards the main characters.

  • The characters fall off a cliff into a river and struggle against the current, but are gradually rescued by Kirby.
  • A giant trash magnet chases the main characters around a junkyard.
