E. Johnson drives a classic "64 & 1/2" Mustang, until the car is picked up by the magnet when it magically turns into a less classic "66" Mustang. Then it's back to a "64 & 1/2" when it's brought to Lester's "Sky Ranch".
The digital clock in Slim's repair shop jumps back and forth between 3:46 and 3:47 between shots.
When Sam is escaping the Sky Ranch with E. Johnson, Melanie Griffith's character, he is shown lighting a gas can with a rag coming out of it on fire. The first scene the fire is 3/4 the way up the rag and in the next scene it is at the very bottom.
After the Mustang runs into the rock, a truck with people from the Sky Ranch arrives, and Sam shoots out a headlight on the truck. In subsequent shots, both headlights are intact.
When working on the airplane, the propeller is off when looking from the front, and on when looking from the rear.
Reptiles are venomous not poisonous. Venomous creatures inject venom when they bite, poisonous creatures poison when eaten.
The Aeronca Champ, with its 65hp Continental engine, won't fit the spark plugs from the Mustang. Even adapting them would be an enormous stretch.
At one point, E. Johnson (Melanie Griffith) addresses Six Fingered Jake (Ben Johnson) as "Uncle John".
This is because John is his real name and he is Johnson's actual uncle; "Six Fingered Jake" is simply his nickname.

When Sam is preparing to leave for Glory Hole he racks the action on his semi-automatic pistol to the locked open (cleaning) position and leaves it that way when he puts it in the holster.
In the shootout at Last Chance Gas and Brothel, the shell casing fails to eject from the gun on Sam's first (and only) shot. Sam stares at his jammed gun, then decides to run toward the airplane taking off.
In the water tunnel as E. is beginning to exit the car, she says to Sam: "We're going to have to hoof it from here." The camera shot changes to a wide shot, showing E. starting to rappel down the tunnel out of the car. There is a crewman plainly visible (in HD) on the right side of the tunnel, possibly holding a boom mic.
The map that E Johnson uses is a Thomas Brothers map book (which is now owned by Rand McNally), modified to have "2017" as the year and ":San Bernardino County, California" (or possibly La Paz county, Arizona) to say "Zone 7". It shows Ludlow, California to be about 20 or 30 miles southeast of Blythe, but Ludlow is really about 100 miles northwest of Blythe. It also shows a fictional city of Vegas City.
