The Director had no idea that Jeff Stryker (Chuck Peyton) was a famous adult movie actor until after he was cast. When he found out, he was actually pleased.
Maurizio Cerantola (The Singer of the main theme song) later joined the Italian Led Zeppelin tribute band, Custard Pie as the lead singer from 1993 till 1997. Then in 2006, he started singing in an Italian Whitesnake tribute band called Cover-Dale. Two years later, the band split up. Then he sang with Snake's Shadow, another Italian Tribute Rock band to Whitesnake.
Then after his departure from Snake's Shadow in 2019, he nowadays sings with his new Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band Pantheøn.
After Death (1989) was shot simultaneously with Strike Commando 2 (1988) in 1988, due to both films having to require the same camera for the two separate productions, and to minimise the budget.
The music was composed by the talented musician and filmmaker, Al Festa, who was known at first for being the keyboardist of the one hit Italian Disco/Funk band Metropole.
The theme song was sung by Maurizio Cerantola, who was the lead singer of the one hit Italian Heavy Metal/Hard Rock band Shout. He had also previously sang for Bruno Mattei's Cop Game (1988) movie soundtrack which was also composed by Cerantola's friend, music producer and former manager Al Festa.
