An emotional Oscar Pistorius has begun testifying at his murder trial in South Africa. Celebrity Big Brother will have another day added to this series due to the show's success.
Yesterday, Channel 5 revealed that the programme would be extended by four days - but it has now pushed the final back yet another 24 hours.
The broadcaster confirmed that the final will now air at 9pm on Wednesday, January 29.
The move was attributed to the "developing editorial" in the show and the addition of an extra eviction on Sunday, January 26.
The news means that the highlights show due to air on January 26 will now become an eviction, while the planned finale on January 28 will instead feature a highlights show and a repeat of Botched Up Bodies. The Tuesday edition of Bit on the Side has also been reduced from 90 minutes to 60 minutes and will be followed by a repeat of Hens Behaving Badly.

A breath test showed that her blood-alcohol level was just over twice the legal limit of .08 percent, and she was subsequently arrested. Brockovich-Ellis was later released from the Clark County Detention Center after posting $1,000 bail. Photos: Stars Behaving Badly: The Best Mugshots of 2013 (So Far) On

San Diego (AP) — The man who was the original voice of Charlie Brown in Peanuts television specials was sentenced Wednesday to a year in jail for threatening his former girlfriend and stalking her plastic surgeon, then immediately released to a residential drug treatment center. A judge warned Peter Robbins that he could be sent to prison for nearly four years if he violates the terms of his probation. "Don't be a blockhead," Superior Court Judge Dwayne Moring told Robbins, borrowing a line from Charlie Brown's friend Lucy. Doc Martin season 5
Kieran Kinsella
British TV’s best loved non-Gallifreyan doctor is back in a bumper sized boxset from Acorn Media. Doc Martin: Special Collection – Series 1 – 5 + The Movies includes the entire saga so far. It is the ideal gift for Doc Martin fans who have grown frustrated at the show’s infrequent airings on select PBS stations.
Doc Martin began life as a bit part character in the film Saving Grace. At the time, his last name was Bamford and he kept the same name for two spin-off BSkyB produced made for TV movies. Bamford was a younger, slimmer, happier, more relaxed version of the Doc Martin most of us are now familiar with. The character alterations occurred when BSkyB’s drama unit went the way of the Dodo and ITV chiefs decided to develop their own version of the show. It was decided that the Doc should...

Blu-ray & DVD Release Date: June 19, 2012
Price: DVD $28.98, Blu-ray $29.95
Studio: Warner Home Video
The party is on in Project X, the R-rated comedy movie that grossed a tidy $55 million.
Written by Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and Matt Drake (TV’s Spin City) and the first feature film directed by Nima Nourizadeh, Project X could be called Teens Behaving Badly.
Featuring a relatively unknown cast, the movie tells the story of three high school seniors who throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves. But, as often happens with these kinds of things, word of the party spreads and the night spirals out of the control.
The cast includes Oliver Cooper and Jonathan Daniel Brown in their first movie, Thomas Mann (It’s Kind of a Funny Story) and Miles Teller (Footloose).
Critics gave the raspberry to the film, calling it unoriginal, unpleasant and vomit inducing. Ouch!

Being Human, one of Syfy's strongest original programs, returns tonight with a season of 13 new episodes that find roommates Sally, Aidan and Josh taking a walk on the dark side, and liking it.
Based on a popular British series, Being Human (Mondays, 9/8 p.m. Cst) is the story of a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are wrestling with what it is to be a monster in the real world. Of course, their monstrousness is actually a metaphor for the plight of The Outsider, something I'm sure we all can relate to.
In season one, our heroes were dealing with the horrors of their past while also trying desperately to maintain their humanity. But based on a question-and-answer session with the show's cast, the gloves are off and the roommates are giving in to their appetites in a new season that could easily be subtitled "Monsters Behaving Badly."

Last weekend Young Adult opened on 8 screens with a solid $40k per screen average and it expands to wide release tomorrow. I recently attended a press junket for the film written by Diablo Cody & directed by Jason Reitman. Below are the highlights from the press conference with director Jason Reitman.
Jason Reitman on Charlize Theron: I was only going to make this movie if I could make it with Charlize. I had read the script and I thought it was phenomenal, but I knew how tricky this character was and I knew how easily it would be to misinterpret this character. You know on the page she was written perfectly. She was nuanced and complicated and she wasn.t just some mean girl. She was a woman with deep wounds that like anybody wanted to be loved and was searching for her place in life who really only knew...

The ancient Greek gods have been uncommonly active in the movie biz over the last few years, via appearances in Percy Jackson and Clash of the Titans, not to mention the forthcoming Immortals and Wrath of the Titans. A more light-hearted film about them is brewing too, with Christopher Walken, Sharon Stone and John Turturro set to star as some of the legendary deities.
Gods Behaving Badly is the name of the movie, and it is based on the book of the same name by Marie Phillips, which portrayed the Greek Gods as having fallen on hard times since their heyday in the Mediterranean some 3,000 years ago. Most shockingly for a once-privileged elite, they have been forced to – gasp! – find jobs, with Apollo working as a television psychic, Aphrodite being employed as a phone-sex operator, and Artemis earning money as a dog-walker.

And so the comeback of Sharon Vonne Stone begins! Well, we’ll see about that but she’s definitely returning to the screen in a new adaptation of the novel Gods Behaving Badly according to /film. The novel, released a few years ago, tells of Greek Gods living in modern day New York and dealing with everyday life and the threat of losing their powers. Stone will play Aphrodite alongside Christopher Walken, John Turturro, Edie Falco and Oliver Platt, whilst Alicia Silverstone will be a mortal girl who meets the gods with her boyfriend. Sounds a bit familiar to Neil Gaiman’s American Gods (which is heading to tv) but even so, could be very interesting with the talent involved! And it is high time Sharon Stone resumed some status in Hollywood, eh? Eh?...

So take a random bunch of big-name stars, throw them in a blender and spit them out; what have you got? No, not another season of "Celebrity Rehab," (though I'm guessing it would totally work with this group)...actually, you've got what could be a very entertaining film. Meanwhile, I guess I have another book to add to my ever-growing to read list: Marie Phillips' Gods Behaving Badly. The best-selling, satirical novel rounds up a familiar group of Greek Gods (Apollo, Zeus, Aphrodite, Eros, etc.), who have fallen from grace and now live together in human form in modern London. Forced to live and work at such lowly jobs as dog walker, television psychic and phone-sex worker, the Gods' paths intersect with a young couple and from there, I suppose hijinks ensue. While the film details are sketchy, the idea of this group of actors gathered together and playing...

In what might be one of the more strange assemblies of on-screen talent we've every heard, Movieline has word on the cast coming together for an adaptation of the best-selling novel Gods Behaving Badly. The story follows Greek Gods who are currently living in a brownstone in New York City and get involved with a young couple named Kate and Neil and end up not only threatening the lovers' relationship but the future of humanity. Alicia Silverstone and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Lake House) are playing the young couple, but it's the casting of the gods that makes this a project to keep an eye on. The line-up of Greek deities includes Sharon Stone as Aphrodite, Oliver Platt as Apollo, Edie Falco as Artemis, Christopher Walken as Zeus, Rosie Perez as Persephone, John Turturro as Hades, Gideon Glick as Eros, Nelsan Ellis as Dionysus, Phylicia Rashad as Demeter and Henry Zebrowski...

Ok, I’m totally interested in this one. Not just because we have some great cast on board, but because I just love the stories with Greek Gods, and especially now when they’re behaving badly.
But please, first check out this cast: Christopher Walken, John Turturro, Sharon Stone, Alicia Silverstone, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Oliver Platt, Edie Falco, Phylicia Rashad, Nelsan Ellis, Gideon Glick, Henry Zebrowski and Rosie Perez.
I mean, is this possible? They are all set to star in an upcoming Marc Turtletaub‘s adaptation of Marie Phillips’ bestselling novel titled Gods Behaving Badly!
First, let me tell you that writers Josh Goldfaden and Marc Turtletaub (producer of projects like ‘Little Miss Sunshine,’ ‘Jack Goes Boating’ and ‘My Idiot Brother’) adapted the whole thing, and Turtletaub will make his feature directing debut.

Well, this could go either one way or the other…..
Young UK writer Marie Phillips’ comedy novel about Ancient Greek Gods living in modern-day Hampstead, Gods Behaving Badly, is heading for the big screen, albeit in a different setting.
The story is being transposed from that London location to the Us, where Zeus and Co. will be mingling with mere mortals on the streets of New York City. The fish out of water scenario features a human couple (to be played in the film by Alicia Silverstone and Ebon Moss-Bachrach) who come into contact with the assortment of gods (to be played by the likes of such heavyweights as Christopher Walken, John Turturro, and Edie Falco) who have been stripped of their deity-like powers and are all are now forced to work in menial jobs, such as phone sex operators and dog-walkers.

The tides are about to get stranger for Johnny Depp.
The Wrap reports that Depp is "close to a deal" for a fifth "Pirates of the Caribbean," surprising... well, nobody. The latest movie in the franchise, "On Stranger Tides," just passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office, and Jerry Bruckheimer is rumored to be meeting intensively with writers to polish up the screenplay.
We can hardly imagine what shenanigans Captain Jack Sparrow will get into this time, but we're sure the masterminds at Disney have something clever up their sleeves.
In the news after the jump, some major comedians check in to "Hotel Transylvania," a "Zombieland" star thinks the sequel won't ever happen and a brilliant moviemaker signs Christopher Walken on as Zeus.

Christopher Walken may have earned status as a screen legend with his combination of unique looks, voice, and dance moves; and now it seems that he has yet another accomplishment to add to his resume: God.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Walken has been tapped to play Zeus in Big Beach Films' screen adaptation of Marie Phillips' "Gods Behaving Badly."
The book details what happens when gods are forced to live together in a New York City brownstone and work among the city's mere mortals; like "The Real World," but with less puking.

Manic icon Christopher Walken is slated to play a down-and-out Zeus in the TV movie adaptation of literary bestseller Gods Behaving Badly. The film, based on the satirical novel by author Marie Phillips, revolves around Zeus' family of destitute Gods and a young couple who change their lives. During the book's promotion, Philips revealed: “Ultimately [religion] comes down to siding with one team or another...what about the Greeks?" "No-one sides with that team any more. "But what if they were the ones who got it right? So...

There is something ethereal about Christopher Walken, isn't there? Perhaps it's the voice, deep and deliberate and wise, or maybe it's his lanky gait. Either way, it seems oddly appropriate that the Oscar-winner has been cast as Zeus, King of the Gods, in the upcoming book-to-film, "Gods Behaving Badly."
Of course, Walken will play a zany, blue collar version of the lightning thrower, one that lives with his fellow Greek Gods in a brownstone in New York City. Joining him in the Olympus/row house will be a powerhouse cast of stars, including Sharon Stone as Aphrodite, Oliver Platt as Apollo, Edie Falco as Artemis, Phylicia Rashad as Demeter, John Turturro as Hades and Rosie Perez as Persephone.
Yes, this is all true.
