The biggest night in television is finally upon us.
Naturally, we've got our fridges and wine racks stocked and ready for takeoff. To help ensure that you, too, reach the proper level of boozy bliss during Sunday's Emmy Awards, we've devised a fun and effective drinking game that's perfect for the whole of-legal-drinking-age family.
When a pre-taped segment starring host Jimmy Kimmel starts, you have until the end of it to down your drink.
Sip when you see a Game of Thrones actor laughing – and take a shot if they claim a statuette.
Sip if a speech makes you teary-eyed...

It turns out not everybody wants to build a snowman.
A woman in Japan has asked her husband for a divorce because he admitted that he didn't like Frozen.
The wife, 29, became entranced by the Disney musical and made several trips to the cinema to catch the film without her 31-year-old other half.
He initially resisted her offers to come and see the musical, but realising she wouldn't let it go, he relented and came along to watch the box office hit.
At university the husband had studied Danish Literature, so the fact that Hans Christian Anderson's tale The Snow Queen served as inspiration for Frozen would suggest he'd embrace the film. Not so.
According to Japanese website Kikonsha no Hakaba (which ominously translates to 'The Gravesite of Married People'), he reviewed the film to his wife thusly: "It's an okay movie, I guess, but I didn't really care for it personally.

Cynthia Bailey's surprise announcement to husband Peter Thomas that her sister wanted to move in despite the pair's contentious relationship escalated a fight that revealed deep cracks in their marriage on Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
"We can't continue like this … Somebody needs an escape route," Thomas said, telling his wife he'd like to get a "man cave" in Atlanta where he could go to escape the stress of their relationship.
"Married people don't get a bungalow across town," Bailey, 46, said. "Next thing, you'll be asking for a little hottie on the side."

"Ender's Game" has had a long and tumultuous journey to the big screen, and it's not over yet. Now that the movie is finally in post-production and is slated for a November release date, it's stirring up a different kind of trouble -- this time, among fans.
An organization that encourages the visibility of Lgbt sci-fi fans has proposed a boycott of the movie because author Orson Scott Card is a vocal opponent of gay marriage. Scott Card wrote in Mormon Times in July 2008, "Married people attempting to raise children with the hope that they, in turn, will be reproductively successful, have every reason to oppose the normalization of homosexual unions."
Geeks Out! issued a statement on its Skip "Ender's Game" website encouraging viewers to "keep your money out of Orson Scott Card's pockets," and to avoid buying anything related to the movie. "By pledging to Skip 'Ender's Game,...

Responding to reports of a nascent boycott against the upcoming movie version of his beloved 1985 sci-fi novel Ender’s Game because of his stated opposition to same-sex marriage, author Orson Scott Card has released a statement exclusively to EW. He declares the gay-marriage issue “moot” due to last month’s Supreme Court rulings. He also makes a plea for gay-marriage supporters to “show tolerance toward those who disagreed with them when the issue was still in dispute.” His full statement is below.

Washington, Feb uary 14: Married people have better mental and physical health than their unmarried peers and are less likely to develop chronic conditions than their widowed or divorced counterparts, according to a new study.
A University of Missouri expert said that people who have happy marriages are more likely to rate their health as better as they age; aging adults whose physical health is declining could especially benefit from improving their marriages.
Christine Proulx, an assistant professor in the Mu Department of Human Development and Family Studies, examined the long-term relationship between self-rated health and marital quality.
She found that, in all stages of marriage, positive or negative relationships.

Washington, May 31: Married people may be happier in the long run than those who aren't married, a new research has suggested.
The study by Michigan State University scientists found that although matrimony does not make people happier than they were when they were single, it appears to protect against normal declines in happiness during adulthood.
"Our study suggests that people on average are happier than they would have been if they didn't.

The following is an excerpt from "Both Of Us: My Life With Farrah" [Crown, $26.00] in which fellow-actor and long-time beau Ryan O'Neal shares the secrets of his tumultuous romance with the "Charlie's Angels" starlet. Chapter 5, "Bad Sports," reveals a regretful rut in their relationship:
Writing a book is an emotional odyssey, sometimes exhilarating, other times deflating. Today I'm trapped in the latter, having to confront certain truths about Farrah. Writing about Good Sports in the previous chapter brought it back to me, this conversation Farrah and I had.
It was right after we had taped our last show. Farrah and I were vacationing in the Bahamas. We were having dinner at a highly recommended little restaurant on the water. A handsome couple was sitting across from us. And Farrah says to me, “I've been watching those people since we sat down. They don't even look at each other. Who has dinner and doesn't speak?...
