Trivia:

Sheryl Lee plays two characters: Laura Palmer and her cousin, a blonde and a brunette. In Vertigo (1958)'Kim Novak' plays two characters, a blonde and a brunette. One character is called Madeleine, and James Stewart's character is called John Ferguson. The name of Laura Palmer's cousin is an amalgamation of these two names: Madeleine Ferguson.

Goofs:

Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): In the first season, Doc Hayward reveals that the blood in the Leo's shirt is a "rare type AB-", and says that this is Jacques Renualt's blood type. In the second season premiere, when Albert Rosenfield and Cooper explains the Laura's murder, they said that the blood of the killer is "AB-, not of Ronnette, Leo or Jacques".

Fantastic

Possibly one of the best TV dramas ever, "Twin Peaks" managed to be a challenging and unique (not to mention intelligent) piece of television.

Daring and provocative, it shattered the boundaries of most standard soap operas/TV dramas.

Terrified of it by a child (and in particular by BOB) I have since returned to it on DVD, only to find myself just as terrified and intrigued by it as I was when I was twelve years old and crouching behind my late grandmother's couch.
