Uunon Huikeat Poikamiesvuodet Maaseudulla (1990) shows us Uuno Turhapuro as a child and just a little older.All the time this character is played by Vesa-Matti Loiri even though he was 45 years old then.He grows into adolescence at the countryside with his father Hugo, who's played by the fantastic Olavi Ahonen.In this movie we also see them puzzling about who's Uuno's mother.Is it the blonde Gunhild Donnersdotter (Hannele Lauri) or the brunette Tyyne (also Loiri).Also Riitta Väisänen is one of the candidates.This movie directed by Pertti Melasniemi is quite funny Turhapuro movie.It is awfully funny to watch Helge Herala trying to teach him at school.He also gets some other kind of education from his friends.All the familiar faces from the previous movies are there.Simo Salminen is Insinööri Sörsselssön.The late Spede Pasanen is Härski Hartikainen.The late Marjatta Raita is Elisabeth Tuura and Marita Nordberg is her mother.The brilliant Tapio Hämäläinen is the father Vuoristoneuvos Tuura.We heard sad news during the weekend about the passing of this marvelous actor at the age of 85.It had happened on January 28th already but it wasn't announced until last Saturday on February 9th.What a great guy we lost in him.Other actors to mention are Pirkka-Pekka Petelius (Töppö) and Aake Kalliala (Taavetti Tuppi).Leo Lastumäki plays Nimismies, Seppo Laine and Jyrki Kovaleff are policemen.Vesa Vierikko is Hammaslääkäri and the narrator is Eero Saarinen.More than one of the actors mentioned there are deceased.It's sad how these actors I've known since my childhood leave this Earth.And it always feels it's too soon.To many only these movies are a proof they have once walked here among us.
