The third season release of Major Crimes is hitting May 26th, and I’ve got your opportunity to win one of three copies of the DVD!
The show, a spin-off of The Closer, has been doing well since it premiered, and the third season was the #3 scripted drama on basic cable.
Moreover, despite not kicking off all that well, it’s a show that has grown into itself, and found a more solid base of existence. The quality has grown in many respects, and the cases were far more interesting in the third season.
Mary McDonnell seems more comfortable, due in large part to the writing giving her a broader base of character to work with.
If you aren’t caught up, now is the perfect chance to get ready for the fourth season.
Take a look at more info on the season, and enter to win your copy!

GTA V's online component, GTA Online, has been patched again, and the fixes come with goodies...
If you're one of the legions of fans living out a life of crime in the massively popular GTA Online, then you'll certainly be happy that Rockstar has released the latest 1.06 'Beach Bum' update.
This update features a selection of new (and free) beach-themed vehicles, a couple of free weapons, new clothes and some extra jobs (30 of 'em). This is great, and offers even more content to the already sprawling, if a little repetitive, title, but it's the bug fixes that'll get most experienced players' attention.
The 1.06 update claims to have fixed all sorts of cheap exploits used by players to get an advantage, instances of players losing vehicles, and other mission-related problems. There's quite a lengthy list, and the patch also includes a slew of gameplay tweaks,...

For anyone who’s been playing Grand Theft Auto Online and waiting patiently for the first batch of proper downloadable content to make its debut after Rockstar’s efforts to address the game’s launch troubles, you’re in luck. The previously announced Beach Bum Dlc pack is available for free as part of the game’s latest patch on both the PS3 and 360, featuring a plethora of new missions, vehicles, weapons, and character customization options.
Four new vehicles are now accessible in both the online and story modes of Grand Theft Auto V, including a dune buggy and off-road truck. Two new weapons are also available in both modes, namely the Sns Pistol and a close-range broken bottle. For your custom GTA Online character, new clothes, hairstyles, and tattoo options are also being released.
30 new in-game Jobs will also be added, with many appropriately incorporating a beach theme. These include races,...

The official trailer for horror anthology film Gallery of Fear just arrived online, and it contains an amazing amount of screaming, creepy characters doing bad things to each other. The film is made up of four stories, and the lovely Debbie Rochon ties them all together as Ms. Roberta Van Houten.

Fuquay-varina - It was a speedy two days with major stars dropping into my neighborhood.
On a Thursday night the man who made predicted FedEx arrived at a Durham library. Mister McFeely (David Newell) still fits in his Speedy Delivery uniform and hat as he greeted Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood fans of all ages. Most of the ages were under seven. Luckily I had brought along a little kid in order not to stick out.
McFeely was at the end of a weeklong tour around the state to touch base with the kids. Lately whenever any star of kid focused tv shows comes to town, it’s part of some over inflated media spectacular stage show at the sports arena. There’s singing, dancing, indoor fireworks and motorcycle stunts meant to dazzle a three year old. Plus there’s a $18 convenience charge on the tickets. But this was not McFeely’s type of entertainment.
