The nominations for the Game Awards have been revealed and it should come to a surprise by no one that Nintendo is leading the way in nominations this year! Here are all the nominations and how to vote!
On December 7, 2017, 2017's video games, their studios, and the people who play them will be honored during The Game Awards 2017, hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year's event should have the gaming world buzzing, as Nintendo is finally in the limelight with about 24 nominations. No other studio can hold that distinction, but Nintendo. It's a long time coming for the once-booming company. The uptick can be attributed to their brand new system, the Nintendo Switch, that has changed the way the world games, as well as the way Nintendo develops.
Video games' biggest night is always a great time to reflect on the best games of the year, but it's also a huge night for reveals.

Multiple sites, including TMZ, are now reporting that actress Brittany Murphy, seen most recently in Across the Hall, died this morning at the age of 32 in Los Angeles. The reports indicate that she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived. No other information is known about her death, besides that it occurred at the home of her husband Simon Monjack this morning at around 8Am. This is incredibly tragic especially considering she was still a young budding actress with quite a bit of potential. While she wasn't the most popular actress, she will certainly be remember for her many great appearances in many films. Murphy began her acting career at the age of 14 starring on "Drexell's Class". She has appeared in films like Clueless, Drive, Falling Sky, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Girl Interrupted, Cherry Falls, Don't Say a Word, Riding in Cars with Boys, 8 Mile, Uptown ...

Some people are never down for the count. And Lauren Bacall is one of those people. The famously silver tongued siren began bewitching moviegoers when she was only 19 -- surely the most mature teenager the screen ever saw -- in To Have and Have Not (1944). Aside from a fallow 1970s, she's been working steadily since. In all that time she's never learned to hold her tongue (so many choice soundbites over the years, god bless) and she's still a lively soul at 84 going on 85. Her birthday is next week.
When she lost her only Oscar nomination (1996's The Mirror Has Two Faces) to Juliette Binoche in The English Patient, most assumed that she would be of the Have Not variety when it came to the statue, despite her marriages to two legendary Haves, Oscar winners Humphrey Bogart and Jason Robards. But now, the wait for her very own golden boy is over.
