The French dubbing renamed the characters to their original names from Jules Verne's novel - Willy Fog to Phileas Fogg, Rigodon to Passerpartout, Romy to Aouda, Dix to Fix, etc.
In the English version, Tico was changed from a Spaniard to an Italian, and was given a stereotypical accent to go with his nationality.
In the Portuguese dub, Tico's home country was changed from Spain to Portugal.
In the Portuguese and Hungarian versions, Tico is voiced by a woman (however he's given a male voice in the sequel series). The Japanese dub also opted to give him more of a high-pitched "cutesy" voice.
In the Czech dubbing, Rigodon is called Barnabash.
