Marie-Louise Fock couldn't speak a word of Finnish. Despite, she commit to memory any line of the script and encouraged director Tulio to pick her to play a main-role.
Director Tulio simultaneously made a Swedish version of the film, called "Sådana du ville ha mig". Most actors were Swedish, but main roles held same actors as in Finnish version.
Movie was filmed at the summer of 1943, but was released not until 15 October 1944 in Helsinki.
