Definately not the marvel comic.

As a general rule, I don't watch porn. But a few of my roomates decided to hire this out, and have a laugh. I wasn't impressed at all. They were laughing their heads off, and were really getting into it, but I couldn't help but think about the people that enjoy these types of films for what they call their 'artistic value'.

The film starts off with a scene of our (female) hero/dominatrix capturing a female who has just gotten away with a murder charge, thanks to some very hammed-up acting, we can tell that she was guilty. She subdues her, and takes the woman to her dungeon. From here we bare witness to some of the most bizarre acts I have ever seen.

The woman awakens to find herself in this strange place, only to be startled by the sight of various torture tools and contraptions. Enter the dominatrix. She unties the woman's ropes (by this point she is still rather drugged) strips her clothes, and re-ties her face down to a wooden bed. She then proceeds to beat the woman profusely with a short whip about the buttocks and lower back area. This continues relentlessly for several minutes until the woman finally succumbs to the pain and cries for mercy. As a result, the dominatrix turns the whip around and begins to insert the handle...Well you know, further and further till she is satisfied that the woman has screamed loud enough.

She then unties the woman, and chains her to a round bench type thing, so that she is chained on her hands and knees. To kick off this round of beatings, the woman is slapped in the face repeatedly while the domainatrix asks "Who's b**** are you?" and other such humiliating questions. The slapping continues till the desired response is muttered. The dominatrix then produces a whip with tatters on the end and resumes in whipping the woman around the buttocks (the entire area is red raw by this time). When this proves useless, the woman is unchained, and tied to a rack where she is gagged and hence any screaming is unnoticed. This was the part that made me the most sick. She uses a sharpened bamboo stick to hit the woman in the crotch area till blood is produced, and the woman finally gives in and promises to turn herself in for the murder she committed. Absolutely pointless. And never consistent, sometimes she looks like she is enjoying the pain, other times she winces and cries. By the end of this, my sick roomates we rolling on the floor laughing themselves silly.

As for the rest of the film, it's pretty much and hour more of torture and humiliation of criminals that have gotten away with their crimes (A male assailant is tortured with needles and sharp objects and walked like a dog in public, another female crim is [kind of] raped and beaten [and eventually comes back to the dominatrix for more -- she apparently enjoyed it so much].) Having nothing else to do but watch this I had to endure the full running time, and my stomach churned the entire time.

How can this be considered art?
