Dangerous Proposition - a great film retreat for any person.
meghan_barnes13 May 2003
I saw this film in the home of a friend in Europe who had recorded it from television. For a first film, I think that director Brad Sanders did an excellent job, demonstrating that he is ready for larger, higher-budget and higher-profile projects. I was impressed with the character development of the two main female characters, as well as with the plot of the entire film in general. Sanders caught the attention of the viewers early on and kept them watching until the dramatic end. I also found the director's cameo appearance in the movie as a needed bit of comic relief. Overall, I would recommend this film to any person wanting to view a interesting drama.

innovative for a first production

Not a bad effort for this filmmakers first production. The story line grows the more you get into the film with a really suspenseful ending. The cinamatoghraphy is great with lots of Baton Rouge scenes. Fine choice in original music throughout. Hey, I've seen a lot worse movies that made it to the big time. I think Brad Sanders deserves a thumbs up for his first effort. I hope to see more from him.

Dangerous Propositions. Here's one: Hey, would you like to go see Dangerous Propositions?

Bad Slanders should have stayed in business school or used his daddy's

money to buy a good script and hire a real director.

This film almost looked as good as the castle in Mr. Rogers neighborhood.

Its a mistake to consider this loser a Baton Rouge filmmaker,

I hope the crew got paid.

If you enjoyed this movie, you'll love "Kuffs" and "Saved By The Bell: Wedding in Los Vegas"

Dangerous Proposition is Poo Poo for the Eyes..

What a lousy piece of garbage.

I think one of the above reviews sums this crappola up perfectly with the statement "I saw this movie on cable in Indonesia."

Next time one is in Indonesia and confronted with the prospect of watching Dangerous Proposition on the local Al-Jazeera affiliate, quickly adjust the rabbit ears atop of the television set and catch Reform School Girls playing on loop instead.

Great Film!

Dangerous Proposition is an independent film that can hold it's own among more expensively produced Hollywood films. It's an old-fashioned

character-based thriller that spins a tale of betrayal, mistrust, jealousy and tragedy. It grabs you early and holds your attention until the end. Independent features I've seen often suffer from weak acting, but not this one. Everyone in the cast is quite good. I give it a 9/10.

A Great Indie

I saw this film on cable TV in Indonesia of all places and thought it was wonderful. John Mese was especially good as Darby. Noelle Evans is beautiful, but I thought her performance in spots was inconsistent. However, the rest of the actors were very good and above par for independent film. The Director, Brad Sanders, has a cameo and it is one of the funniest scenes in the movie. What intrigued me about the film was the notion that small mistruths can have tragic consequences. I have experienced this in my own life and could relate. Dangerous Proposition is one of those hidden gems of independent cinema. I highly recommend it.
