Paramount's Think or Sink is one of their few gems of their late '60s output

Just watched this Paramount Merry Maker cartoon on YouTube as linked from the Cartoon Brew site. From a story by legendary Terrytoons animator Jim Tyler, this cartoon by director Shamus Culhane concerns an elephant named Roscoe whose friend thinks he's crazy since Roscoe is able to walk, skate, and stand on water simply because the elephant thinks he can. So he gets sent to a psychiatrist...It takes a while but there are some good laughs like when the head doctor keeps asking for some money or when all that thinking upsets the positivity of the elephant and his friend. One of the few cartoons of any theatrical animation studio made in the late '60s that isn't cookie cutter or formulaic to the point of repetition. So on that note, Think or Sink is well worth seeing.
