Mouse Revue
Paul Terry's staff turned out this musical review starring a squeaky-voiced mouse.
There are two brief appearances by Farmer Al Falfa in this good Terrytoon, in which a master of ceremonies with a voice like Mickey Mouse and a ribbon on his tail plays the piano for six old-fashioned songs illustrated by humorous vignettes. The artwork is primitive and the matching of mouths to words is erratic at best, but the songs are well sung and some of the jokes are amusing.
This one has all the earmarks of a filler turned out fast to meet a release schedule, but Terry's staff was very good and when the boss wasn't looking over their shoulders, apt to do a better job than when he was.
