Choking Chicks Is Cool...

What can you really expect to get in three minutes? Not much, so I guess this Nick Zedd short could have been worse.

A man (played by Zedd) comes into a room where a chick is reading, kisses her for a bit, then strangles her to death - set to the music of The Swans.

Eh - what can ya say about something like that? I've seen worse, and of course better - but there's not a whole lot that can be done in three minutes, so I won't bash it too much. Besides, kissing and then choking chicks is pretty cool, so I'll give it a few points for that. I can't say that I'd really recommend seeking this one out as there's nothing really notable about it in any way, but if you have it in your possession and have three minutes to kill - have at it...5/10

we won the new york underground film award for most passionate film or something to that affect. it was a new award given solely to us.

SPOILER WARNING: i came up with the idea...i wanted blood to come out of my mouth so that i could get rid of my fear of seeing blood coming out of the mouths of those who die that way in the movies. it worked oh and the shocking of the audience was good fun back then. oh and the controversy over the killing of a girl by a boy...i think the feminists were angry. i am the girl who wrote that part. it had nothing to do with a boy killing a girl. SPOILER WARING: it had a lot more to do with biting a blood bullet now john waters will you hire me?

beth cataldo held the camera. nick zedd probably did too. i probably did too. i cut it. he cut it. we all cut it.

my real name is listed on the front cover of the book that nick is reading in the opening scene. thanks to the swans who allowed us to use their music as a soundtrack. we filmed this in one afternoon after thinking about it for about 5 minutes. i've seen reviews written that have taken more time to write than we took to make this film. hey...low budget. no money. an idea. shoot. got that good 40's girl look.
