Perhaps my ambivalence about this short film might be because the DVD collection which contains this film is a rather soul-less and dreary collection. Also, it is quite possible that the dark sense of humor in this short might appeal to you a lot more than it did to me. The film is one that I liked parts of but the whole left me a bit cold--especially since the ending seemed incomplete.
An annoying guy is having lunch with a friend while he talks about why his girlfriend MUST be cheating on him. So, to find out the truth, he sent a friend over to the house to try to seduce her--to prove whether or not she's seeing other men on the side. However, this friend (who, by the way was a great character) gets much, much more than he bargained for, as this girlfriend has a much darker secret.
Later, when the annoying boyfriend comes to his girlfriend's house, some part of this strange mystery becomes more clear to the audience. It's all clever but also a bit unpleasant and left me flat. However, the acting was very good and the folks who made this seemed to have talent and quite an imagination.
