Lots of good orgy scenes
toprjf73929 March 2006
I do not think that this movie was ever released in the US. I had to find a collector in Denmark to get a copy of it. I saw it the first time in 1978. I could not find anyone that had it until 2002. There are lots of good orgy scenes that take place in San Francisco and Las Vegas. Basically, A woman is told by her doctor that she only has a few weeks to live. She decides to go out in style, attending every orgy she could find. Several weeks later she goes back to the doctor and finds out that she is not longer affected by her ailment. The doctor wants to know what she did. In the last scene he is also at an orgy. The last line says "Sex is Life". The Asian actress listed as Sue Yu is actually the actress Carol Tong, seen in "Sex World"

70's porn that certainly delivers on the promise of its premise

Warning: Spoilers
Lovely, but uptight young lass Sandy (woodenly played by slim and fetching blonde Sandy Pinney) sheds her inhibitions and happily participates in orgies in both San Francisco and Las Vegas after her doctor informs her that she only has a few weeks left to live. Director Carlos Tabolina and writer Edgard Warren don't bother with exploring the more touching and tragic aspects of the poignant story; instead they just get right down to steamy basics with wall to wall group copulation set pieces involving a bunch of attractive folks that include such familiar Golden Age porn faces (and bodies) as Desiree West, the super foxy and sexy Carol Tong, Paul Thomas, Candida Royalle, Annette Haven, and even the legendary John Holmes and his monstrously massive mutant moose member. While the plot is slight and Pinney's stiff acting leaves something to be desired (fortunately she still looks mighty tantalizing sans clothes), this hardcore outing nonetheless proves to be quite enjoyable because of its tight 74 minute running time, a fun eclectic soundtrack that incorporates everything from sweeping orchestral mush to groovy-grinding funk, handsome soft-focus cinematography by Fernando Fortes, and a refreshing lack of pretense.

Orgy but not fun.
ndanny-1403016 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I believe most of people expect orgy should happened in a fun way: sex partner exchange, double penetration, multiple cumshot... In more than 70 minutes, there are 3 orgy scenes, and it happened in the most boring way: cunilingus, oral, penetration and done. They were even lazy to change the positions.

The orgies happened in the room, outdoor with more than 5 couples for each scene and they jump directly to orgy with naked, ready to have sex together without any notice or sex partner selection at the beginning. They also arranged the position and the good thing is most of guys are ejaculation outside vagina, then put it back and continue to penetration, some guys also ejaculate twice.

Basically, this movies is a set of boring orgy scenes.

Sloppy, disappointing porn soap opera

Warning: Spoilers
HER LAST FLING starts promisingly with a beautiful heroine (Sandy Pinney) gazing wistfully from her terrace above the city, but director Carlos Tobalina soon plunges his film into repetitive, pointless orgy footage, randomly constructed like so many pounds of flesh. That isn't a bad description, because this filmmaker is only interested in selling sex by the pound.

With repeated shots of Sandy in her brand-new Caddy convertible, action shifts at will between home base of Frisco (that's where all the porn stars work) and Vegas, latter providing the usual travelogue footage of her wandering the Strip. Major orgy scenes featuring many familiar bodies and faces (though several listed in IMDb like John Holmes do not appear according to my eyeballing, while others including Carlos regular Sharon Thorpe, do) are doled out in chunks in no particular order within this scatterbrained exercise.

Mainly related via heroine's monotone voice-over narration, the weak plot line has her diagnosed by a salt & pepper haired doc with an unmentioned terminal illness (likely the dreaded Ali MacGraw disease that felled her in LOVE STORY). When the same dumb doc, after getting his bell rope pulled along the way, reappears near film's end to announce to her: "The syndrome's completely disappeared", I was thrilled at the coincidence that this dog was reissued on DVD by none other than Vinegar Syndrome.

Sandy is beautiful but it's clear why she didn't become a big star - as in a better movie she made with John Leslie her acting is suspect. She stares a lot and seems to have spent a lot more time with her hairdresser than attending Sandy Meisner acting classes. The gimmick that with only months to live she can live it up wears thin quickly and is simply an excuse for Carlos to do his orgy thing, as witness typically dumb dialog: "The way to really get to know people is at an orgy".

As with many other recent VS reissues of CT movies, the question is raised regarding film preservation - does a beautiful, pristine print version of a terrible movie really matter? I'm glad companies with integrity like Vinegar are using excellent elements to transfer their film reissues to DVD (counteracting the idiotic campaign that it is preferable to watch scratched, shredded and damaged old movies to preposterously "relive" the original filmmaking experience (pure hogwash, I was there going to movies in the '60s and '70s and with luck we saw quality, well-projected prints)). But these Tobalina films were cinematic sow's ears then and will remain so forever.

Typical Orgy from Tobalina
Michael_Elliott6 July 2020
Her Last Fling (1976)

* 1/2 (out of 4)

Sandy (Sandy Feldman) gets word from her doctor that she doesn't have much longer to live so she decides to get involved with some orgies.

HER LAST FLING might sound like director Carlos Tobalina was trying to get into some Ingmar Bergman type of drama but you should know that the "drama" pretty much goes out the window at the five-minute mark and then it turns into your typical gang bang / orgy film. If you're familiar with the work of Tobalina then you know how the man loves group sex.

At just 72-minutes the film isn't that long but there's really not enough story here for anything and in fact the entire opening is pretty much useless as there's no story or character development. Obviously the opening was just an excuse to get to the orgy action and as is typically the case it's poorly shot and certainly not erotic.

There are some familiar faces in the cast but no one really stands out among the crowd. There are a few good scenes and if you're into large orgies then you might get a little more entertainment out of it but overall it's pretty flat.
