- There is blood but is mostly purple, some red blood is seen. There is fighting violence in the film.
- Martial arts violence thought the entire movie with Spiritual powers.
- When Lord Yakumo tries the extract the Power Sphere from Botan, a little a mount of blood come out of her mouth. Generally, slightly lower than PG-13 violence since most of it happens to demons.

- Yakumo uses his power to throw Yusuke into Genkai's temple.
- The following is about religion: There are references to Demons/God/Gods/Spirit World (sort of like Heaven), Demon World (sort of like Hell) and The Nether World (sort of like Limbo), references to Buddhism)
- The scenes where Lord Yakumo tries to extract the power sphere from Botan can be frightening. But most of the violence happens to bad guys, so nothing terrible.
