Evelyn : The last known expedition to actually reach Ahm Shere was sent by Ramses the Fourth over 3,000 years ago. He sent over a thousand men.

Rick : [to Ardeth Bay on seeing Imhotep's resurrection] You know, a couple of years ago this would have seemed really strange to me.

[Jonathon drives up in a double-decker bus with Alex]

Jonathan : Well, I was forced to find an alternative means of transportation.
Rick : [shouting] A double-decker bus?
Jonathan : [pointing to Alex] It was his idea!
Alex : Was not!
Jonathan : Was too!
Rick : Just go!

Rick : Okay, you're here, the bad guys are here, Evy's been kidnapped. Let me guess.
Ardeth Bay : Yes, they once again removed the creature from his grave.
Jonathan : I don't mean to point fingers, but isn't it your job to make sure that *doesn't* happen?
Ardeth Bay : That woman who was with him, she knows things; things that no living person could possibly know. She knew exactly where the creature was buried. We were hoping she would lead us to the bracelet. She obviously did. And now they have it.
Alex : [revealing the bracelet on his wrist] I wouldn't get too nervous just yet.

[after their narrow escape, Izzy cheers wildly, then rounds on O'Connell, furious]
Izzy : O'Connell. You almost got me killed!
Rick : [shrugs weakly] At least you didn't get shot.
Evelyn : Izzy! Thank you!
[kisses Izzy on the cheek]

Jonathan : [with his diamond] Yes! Yes! Yes!
Izzy : [considerably more mellow] O'Connell, who the hell you been messin' with this time, huh?
Rick : Oh, you know, the usual. Mummies, pygmies, big bugs.

Izzy : Remember that bank job in Marrakesh?
Evelyn : Bank job?
Rick : It's not like it sounds.
Izzy : Ah, it's exactly how it sounds. I'm flying high, *hiding* in the sun. The white boy here flags me down, so I fly in low for the pickup. The next thing I know, I get shot! I'm lying in the middle of the road with my spleen hanging out and I see him waltzing up with some belly dancer girl.
Evelyn : Belly dancer girl? Izzy, I think you and I should talk.
Izzy : As long as I don't get shot.

[Evie is trying to bribe Rick into checking out the Oasis of Ahm Shere]
Evelyn : I think the bracelet is some sort of guide to the lost oasis of Ahm Shere.
Rick : Evy, I know what you're thinking, and the answer is no. We just got home.
Evelyn : That's the beauty of it. We're already packed.
Rick : Why don't you just give me one good reason?
Evelyn : It's just an oasis... darling. A beautiful... exciting... romantic... oasis.
Rick : Hmm. The kind with the white, sandy beach and the palm trees and the cool, clear, blue water and... We could have some of those big drinks with the little umbrellas.

Rick : You all right?
Ardeth Bay : This was my first bus ride.

Rick : So, that's why they dug up Imhotep. 'Cause he's the only guy tough enough to take out the Scorpion King.

[as Evelyn is waving her torch trying to recreate a vision]

[Jonathan, mistaken for Rick is in a chair with a knife at his throat while being asked about the Bracelet of Anubis]
Meela : Where's your wife?
Jonathan : My wife? Oh you mean Evy. Well, I think she went off to Baden-Baden or Tibet or something. The girl is a free spirit. Did I mention I was single now?
Meela : [pulls a snake out of a basket] Egyptian Aps are quite poisonous.
Jonathan : It's downstairs. There's a safe. the combination is, uh, uh, 320-58, er, 393-something. It's the safe downstairs. I told you. I told you!
Meela : And your point is?
Jonathan : My point is, I told you so you wouldn't kill me.
Meela : When did we make that arrangement?
[leans towards him and points the snake at his throat]
Meela : [Rick enters and sees Jonathan tied up and Meela and her men surrounding him]
Rick : Uh, hello. Uh, Jonathan, I thought I said no more wild parties.
Jonathan : Well, when you're popular...

Rick : [when Mummys appears] Oh, I hate these guys.

Rick : [after defeating the Scorpion King] Go to hell! And take your friends with you!

Evelyn : No, no, they're memories from my previous life. Honestly, I'm not losing my mind. It all makes perfect sense now.

Ardeth Bay : Now do you believe, my friend? Clearly, you were destined to protect this woman.

Rick : Not after I get through with him.

Ardeth Bay : [after Alex is abducted] Please, do not fear for your son, my friends. They cannot hurt him, for he wears the bracelet of Anubis.
Evelyn : Alex is wearing the bracelet?
Rick : When he put it on, he said he saw the pyramids at Giza, he saw the temple at Karnak.
Ardeth Bay : Yes, and when they reach Karknak, the bracelet will show him the next step of the journey.
Evelyn : Well, if we don't get to Karnak before them, we won't have any idea where to look for him next.
Rick : Seems to me like we need a magic carpet.

Evelyn : [at Magic Carpet Airways] This is the magic carpet?
Rick : It'll be fine. He's a professional.
[coming out the front door, Izzy spots him and gasps]
Rick : Izzy!
[retreating back inside, Izzy locks the door]
Rick : Hey!
Evelyn : He definitely remembers you.
Rick : He's a little shy. Jonathan, get our bags.
Jonathan : Oh, my hands are full.
Rick : [yanking the scepter out of his hand] Now!
Jonathan : Right. I'll get the bags.
Rick : I'll deal with the flight details.
Evelyn : [he shoots the lock] Honey, you're not a subtle man.
Rick : We don't have time for subtle.

Rick : What can we expect from our old friend Imhotep?
Ardeth Bay : His powers are returning quickly. By the time he reaches Ahm Shere, even the Scorpion King won't be able to stop him.

Evelyn : [finding the bracelet of Anubis, the room they're in rumbles] Oh, my God.
Rick : [she puts the bracelet back in its case and closes the lid] Well, it's a bit late for that, isn't it?
Evelyn : [giving the case to him] Put it in your rucksack.
Rick : What? I got a better idea. Let's leave it here.
Evelyn : I think it's a bit late for that!
Rick : What's it say?
Evelyn : [translating writing on the lid] "He who disturbs this bracelet shall drink from the Nile." Well, that doesn't sound too bad.
[a huge wave of water crashes through the temple]

Rick : Even if I was some sort of sacred Medjai, what good does that do me now?
Ardeth Bay : It is the missing piece of your heart. If you embrace it, if you accept it, you can do anything.

Evelyn : [in an ancient tomb] Ever since I had that dream, this place is all I can think about.
Rick : And ever since you had that dream, I haven't had a decent night's sleep.
Evelyn : I feel like I've been here before. I *know* I've been here before.
Rick : Evy, nobody's been here before. Not in at least 3,000 years.
[indicating the skeletons in the room]
Rick : Except for these guys.
Evelyn : [opening a hidden door] Then how do I seem to know exactly where I'm going?

Rick : What are you doing down here? I told you to wait for us up in the temple.
Alex : But, but, Dad, I saw...
Rick : No "buts". It's dangerous down here, Alex.
Alex : But I saw your tattoo!
Rick : You saw what?
Alex : On a wall by the entrance. There's a cartouche just like it.
[tracing the tattoo on Rick's wrist with his finger]
Alex : With the pyramid and the eye and the two kings and everything.
Rick : Really?
Alex : Yeah.
Rick : Okay, well, I'll be up to take a look at that in a minute. In the meantime, I want you to wait for us up there.
Alex : But... but...
Rick : No, pick up your stuff, and I'll see you up in the temple. Go. Go on.
Alex : And... and what shall I do?
Rick : I don't know. Surprise me. Build a better mousetrap.
Alex : Okay.
Rick : [to himself] While your mother goes and desecrates another tomb.

Meela : [Meela enters the O'Connell house] Hello.
Jonathan : Hello.
[then chuckles]
