"I didn't mean to diss Stevie"
I enjoyed this movie. It was a little rough when it came to visual style but I thought the acting was decent (I give high marks to Kristen Kakos) and the plot was fun. My only complaints were that the film was too short and that Reese was changed back too soon (if at all). The sex swap genre is usually reserved to "comedy" and while this film had some hilarious moments it did have an interesting darker side. Turntables takes an creative spin on the old Greek myth and dares to be more than a one note gimmick. I would have liked to have seen the psychology of the character developed, but It was fun to see Female Reese giving into biology in a drunken stooper and even funnier to realize what she/he did the next day. Oh, and this movie gave me new appreciation for Stevie Wonder. Where can I get that song at the beginning?
