If you were a kid during the late 1990s/early 2000s, you probably have fond memories of the Disney Channel series, Bug Juice. During an era when reality TV was still a fairly new concept, Bug Juice was truly one of a kind. The series, which lasted for three seasons, was set at a different sleepaway camp each year. The ’90s summer camp-set reality series “Bug Juice” is returning to TV, with Disney set to premiere “Bug Juice: My Adventures at Camp” on July 16. The 16-episode reboot will return to Camp Waziyatah in Maine and feature a whole new class of kids.
The show will document the myriad fun activities the campers take part in, as well as the challenges the they face, including trying to fit in, being homesick and the ups and downs of friendship.
According to the network, the new series will be updated for modern times with “animated emoticons, ‘boomerang’ shots and on-screen memes punctuating the summertime adventures.”
New episodes will premiere nightly Monday through Thursday throughout the summer.

It's time to return to Camp Waziyatah. Disney Channel is bringing back Bug Juice roughly 20 years after the original docu-series. The new version will capture the adventures of a group of kids, 10-12 years old, as they head to summer camp.
